Man dies in hospital after being shot in chest in Baltimore

A man died in the hospital after he was shot in the chest Tuesday evening. 

Police were called to the 1600 block of May Court just before 6:00 p.m. after hearing reports of gunshots. There was no crime scene where they were called, but they soon found one on the 200 Block of North Bound Street. 

Shortly after, they were called to a local hospital to look into a walk-in shooting victim. 

Detectives learned this was the man shot on North Bound Street. The 43-year-old man was shot in the chest, and the gunman ran away. The victim was then driven to the hospital.

The man died from his injuries.
