Baltimore Police were dispatched to the scene of a reported double shooting that left a man and a woman suffering from gunshot wounds Tuesday afternoon on the 3400 block of Auchentoroly Terrace.
According to officers, when they arrived at the scene they found a 27-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman in a car suffering from gunshot wounds.
They say the man was later transported to Shock Trauma for his injuries and died moments later. The woman was also transported to a nearby hospital where she is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Officials say the man and woman were at a traffic light when two people parked their car beside theirs and proceeded to shoot at the victims in the vehicle. As they were being shot at, they tried to drive away and ended up crashing the car near Auchentoroly Terrace.
Police say the shooters fled the scene.
