A man was found suffering from gunshot wounds in the 1000 block of Billie Holiday Court Wednesday evening.
According to police, an officer was in the area on patrol when he heard gunshots. They say officers then proceeded to investigate the incident and found a 26-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds to his chest.
Police say the man was later transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead from his injuries.
Detectives are investigating the incident.
