The man that died during a triple shooting on Monday afternoon has been identified by police.

TJ Smith, an official with the Baltimore Police, said officers heard the shooting from the police station in Northwest Baltimore around 11:00 in the afternoon. After they heard the shots they ran to the 5400 block of Fairlawn Ave and saw what they believe was two men running away.

Police lost the suspects after a short chase.

When the officers got to the scene of the shooting they found 51-year-old Winfield Parker with a gunshot wound to the head, a 26-year-old woman with gunshot wounds to the upper and lower body, and a 27-year old man with a gunshot wound to the leg.

Police say Parker died at an area hospital.
