Friday afternoon, police were called to the 5300 block of Gist Avenue for reports of a man shooting a gun into the air.
Neighbors told officers on the scene that the man was armed with a knife and shot several gunshots in the air.
Zarzine Wardlaw, 45, was found in the same block with a loaded shotgun, a knife, and additional ammunition.
Wardlaw was transported to the Central Booking and Intake Facility.
No injuries were reported during the shooting.
