Man arrested with loaded gun leaving Horseshoe Casino

Baltimore Police are investigating an incident where an armed man was arrested leaving Horseshoe Casino.

Around 8:00 a.m. officers of the Casino Entertainment district were notified of an armed person at the Horseshoe Casino.

When units arrived, they were informed that the man seen with a handgun had just left the casino in a black SUV.

A short time later, officers found the black SUV and stopped the vehicle in the 600 block of Bayard Street.

Officers recovered a loaded handgun during the stop.

Malik Basit, 55, was arrested and taken to Central Booking.
