Warrant Apprehension detectives arrested a 30-year-old man in connection with an early March murder.
Vernon Williams Jr. was picked up in the 3000 block of Mayfield Avenue. Police connected him to the murder of 33-year-old Paul Jackson of the 3300 block of Cardenas Avenue.
Williams was taken to Central Booking Intake Facility where he's been charged with first-degree murder.
