A man is in custody after police said he carjacked a pregnant woman in north Baltimore Monday.
Cody Werts, 19, was arrested and charged with robbery, assault and theft after being seen by officers driving the victim’s SUV.
Police said a 31-year-old woman was driving home from work when she saw an unknown man inside her car.
She pulled over in the 2500 block of Greenmount Avenue and told him to get out, but he refused.

After a brief struggle, the woman got out of her car and the man drove away. The woman wasn't injured.
Police still aren't sure when Werts first entered the victim’s vehicle.
