A man is arrested for three separate carjackings, including one where a 76-year-old man was stabbed.
On Saturday police spotted 29-year-old Robert Crenshaw driving one of the cars that had been stolen. Crenshaw was arrested after jumping out of the car and trying to run off after officers pulled him over.
Police say Crenshaw confessed to all three carjackings, including one on E Lombard Street where a 76-year-old man was stabbed in a parking lot. Surveillance video shows the suspect wearing a pink backpack police say was stolen from an earlier carjacking victim.
Crenshaw now faces multiple charges including carjacking, robbery, and attempted murder.
