Two overnight homicides leave a man and a woman dead.

Around midnight, officers were called to the 1800 block of Rutland Avenue for a shooting. Units arrived and found a 24-year-old man who had been shot.

The victim was transported to Johns Hopkins where he was pronounced dead.

Three hours later in Southeast Baltimore police were responding to a shooting in the 500 block of North Bouldin Street.

Officers found a 29-year-old woman suffering from gunshot wounds to the body.

 The woman was transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital, but to no avail she died from her injuries.
