A man, 24, was shot in the forearm during a shooting near Lexington Market Sunday afternoon.
Police said officers responded to the 100 block of North Howard Street for a reported shooting around 4:15 p.m.
According to City police, shortly after arriving to the crime scene officers were dispatched to an area hospital for a walk-in shooting victim.
Once on scene, officers discovered the victim was injured in the shooting incident on North Howard Street.
Detectives are asking anyone with anyone information to contact police or call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lockup.
This marks the fourth shooting incident since the 72-hour citywide cease fire began Friday.
