Man, 21, shot by in forearm; victim describes suspect to police

Officers say around 6:50 p.m. a call came out for a shooting in the 700 block of North Broadway Street.

A 21-year-old victim was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the forearm at the scene. Police say the man is expected to survive his injuries and is in good condition.

Investigations revealed the man was in the 1600 block of East Eager Street when he was shot by an unknown heavyset suspect wearing a red shirt and blue jeans.

After being shot, police say the victim walked to the Kennedy Krieger Institute on Broadway.
