Police respond to west Baltimore shooting

The victim shot in the 700 block of North Monroe Street has died from his injuries, according to City police.

The victim has been identified as Kareem Samuel of the 600 block of Montpelier Street.

Homicide detectives responded to a west Baltimore shooting due to the severity of the victim's injuries.

At approximately 9:10 p.m. police discovered Samuel suffering from gunshot wounds to his body.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment, where he later died.

No suspects have been identified.
