BALTIMORE — A handgun was found Tuesday afternoon in Baltimore Central Booking and Intake Center, the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services said in a release.
The Department “received specific information and intelligence of a possible weapon,” inside the facility, the release said.
The tip was investigated and the Special Operations Group responded to the location and secured the gun and the facility, DPSCS said. The incident is continuing to be investigated.
