Four overnight shootings in Baltimore, two of them deadly

Police in Baltimore City were busy Wednesday night into Thursday morning after there were four reported shootings, and two of them were deadly. 

At 9:20 p.m., officers responded to the first shooting of the night in the 500 block of South Sanford Street. When they got to the street they found a 28-year-old man with gunshot wounds to the neck and shoulder. He later died at the hospital. 

Less than an hour later, another shooting was reported in the 400 block of South Gilmore Street. At 10:38 p.m., police found a 33-year-old suffering from a gunshot wound to the back. Because of his condition, he was unable to give investigators any additional information. He is listed in serious but stable condition at a local hospital. 

Police were then sent to the Eastern District just after midnight for a shooting in the 800 block of McAleen Court. They found a 39-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds to his body. He was taken to a hospital in the area where he later died. 

The last shooting was at 4:24 a.m. in the 2300 block of Lauretta Avenue. When police got to the scene they found a 60-year-old man shot in the back. He was transported to a hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
