The two-year long prosecution of the men accused of raping and killing 16-year-old Arnesha Bowers has come to an end.
Raeshawn Rivers was sentenced to 15 years in prison with 10 years suspended. He was convicted of robbery in the case.

According to court testimony, Rivers, along with John Childs and Adonay Dixon attempted to burglarize Bowers' home. When she became aware of the situation, Dixon grabbed her while Childs hit her in the head.
Rivers and Dixon ransacked the house while Childs took Bowers to the basement where he raped and strangled her.
The three men set multiple fires throughout the house. Rivers will spend the next three years behind bars. He has already spent two years in jail awaiting trial.
