BALTIMORE (AP) - Baltimore police say a fight between two 11-year-old boys ended with one of them being stabbed.

The victim was wounded in the chest and was taken to a hospital for treatment, where he is currently being treated for his injuries, according to police.

Police say the 11-year-old alleged attacker, of the 3600 block of Roberts Place, was charged as a juvenile with attempted murder and taken to the city's booking center.

Investigators believe the two boys were fighting over a bike, and that one of them drew a knife and stabbed the other. The stabbing occurred around 5:30 p.m. Saturday in the 500 block of N. Highland Avenue in east Baltimore.
