Baltimore police say they have seized fentanyl and an assortment of weapons from a 62-year-old man's car after the department received a tip.

After getting the tip, officers were able to find Wendell Beard's car on the 2200 block of Linden Avenue. Officers say he's a repeat violent offender who is prohibited from possessing guns.

Police say they found six packages of hospital-grade fentanyl spray containers in plain view when they approached his vehicle. After a search, they found two 9mm semi-automatic handguns, four knives, a wooden club, two sets of handcuffs, a facemask, and a BB gun.

Everything was seized and Beard was charged with an array of firearms, narcotics and deadly weapons charges. He's currently waiting to see a court commissioner.
