Brandon Wilder was convicted in the shooting death of his brother, Ramon Wilder, Friday in court.

Brandon Wilder was convicted of first degree murder, attempted robbery with a deadly or dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit both robbery with a deadly weapon and armed carjacking, armed carjacking and use of a handgun in the commission of a crime of violence.

The suspect's accomplice, Theodore Grice, was convicted of conspiracy to commit robbery and carjacking.

On May 9, 2014, a truck driver found the body of Ramon Wilder in an alley in the 3400 block of Wilkens Avenue, with three gunshot wounds, one of which pierced his heart.

Police learned the victim was lured to the alley by a woman proposing a sexual encounter, while the suspects laid in wait close by in another vehicle.

Police also had evidence that indicates that the suspects went to a 7-11 after the murder and then parked and cleaned the victim's truck at a hotel parking near BWI airport.

The defendants will be sentenced on September 29th, 2016.
