Baltimore City Police were called to the 2400 block of Greenmount Avenue Friday for reports of a shooting around 4:45 p.m.
Upon arrival officers found a man suffering from gunshot wounds to his body.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
According to police, it is believed the victim was involved in an argument with an unknown suspect.
During the argument, the suspect assaulted and shot the victim.
