BALTIMORE (AP) -- A driver has been found guilty of first-degree murder for running down a woman and a toddler on a sidewalk after an argument.

Baltimore Circuit Court Judge Marcus Shar convicted 30-year-old Lucresha Mints Wednesday in the killings of 25-year-old Latoya Skipwith and 2-year-old Joshua Carter Jr.

Prosecutors say on May 27, 2014, Mints, angry that a male friend was seeing another woman, deliberately aimed her car at the west Baltimore sidewalk where people were standing.
