City police responded to a call about a 24-year-old male who was shot shortly after officers discovered a woman he is romantically involved with suffering from stab wounds.
Officers responded to the 2400 block of Kermit Court in south Baltimore at around 7:16 a.m. Sunday where they found a female victim with stab wounds.
Minutes later at 7:19 a.m., police were called to the 2400 block of Dorton Court, very close to Kermit Court, for a reported shooting.
Officers found a the male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
Both victims were transported to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators believe the stabbing and shooting are part of a domestic assault.
