Baltimore police arrested a man suspected of raping a teenager last August based on DNA evidence from a rape kit. 

Police arrested 49-year-old Ronnie Williams on May 31, 2017. He was charged with first degree rape.

According to authorities an 18-year-old woman was raped on August 21, 2016 in an abandoned house in the Harwood Avenue.

DNA evidence gathered from a rape kit identified Williams as the rapist and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
He is being held at Central Booking and was denied bail.
