Detectives investigate daytime robberies

Baltimore City detectives have released photos of persons of interest in two separate robberies that occurred on Tuesday, April 17, 2018. The persons pictured are accused of stealing cellphones and a wallet.

According to police, the first robbery took place around 1:00 pm in the 500 block of South Washington St. A 41 year old woman says she was sitting when four unknown suspects approached her. After her phone was stolen, the victim chased after the suspect where she was then assaulted.

The second robbery took place around the same time in 600 block of S. Wolfe Street. A 27-year old man told officers he was walking on Wolfe Street when four unknown suspects robbed him of his wallet and cellphone.
