A 51-year-old shot in the head died early Saturday morning, becoming the 12th shooting victim of 2018 in the city.
After reports of a shooting, police responded to the 500 block of Gold Street around 4:30 a.m. When they got the scene they found a man with a gunshot wound to the head.
The man was taken to Shock Trauma where he died a short time later.
Homicide detectives think the motive for the shooting was a robbery.
