Police are investigating a Saturday night shooting of an elderly man in Northwest Baltimore.
Officers arrived to an area hospital for a report of a shooting victim. At the hospital, they found an 84-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds to the stomach and hand.
The victim was immediately taken into surgery.
Detectives leading the investigation believe the victim may have been shot during a robbery attempt int he area Spaulding and Park Heights Avenue.
