Deadly shooting in Baltimore investigated

A man was shot and killed in northeast Baltimore early Monday morning and police are looking for suspects.

Around 3:30 a.m., Baltimore Police patrol officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of East 31st street to investigate reports of a shooting.

When they arrived, officers found an 18-year-old man with an apparent gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Detectives were in the process of interviewing witnesses Monday and the investigation is onging.
