A Baltimore Police Department crime scene technician is facing drug and weapons charges after police raided her West Baltimore home Wednesday.

On November 16, police executed a search warrant at a home in the 1600 block of Ashburton Street. Police found handguns, a capsule machine, and $100,000 in cash.

Timika Jones, a crime scene technician, and her boyfriend Clarence Jones were the targets of the warrant and were at the home during the raid.

Police also found 125 gel capsules filled with suspected heroin and $5,000 in cash in a car rented by Timika Jones.

Both were arrested and charged with felony narcotics possession, intent to distribute and gun charges.

Ms. Jones was suspended without pay according to the Baltimore Police Department.

Police said she did not have access to the drug laboratory or storage.
