A car crashed into a barrier in front of Baltimore Police headquarters, while being pursued by police.

Police were investigating a report of gunshots in the 3800 block of Cold Spring Lane around 5 p.m. when they saw a black Acura driving erratically. Officers saw it strike another car, then began to follow it.

The Acura turned onto the Jones Falls Expressway and drove south toward downtown, before crashing in front of police headquarters.

The driver, an adult female, was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

While officers were following the vehicle, a 33-year old man walked into an area hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg. Investigators believe both of these incidents are related to each other.

Anyone with any information should call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lockup.
