BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police say the cause of death of the body that was found in a dwelling on Saturday in North Baltimore has been ruled a homicide.

At a little before 9:30 a.m., Homicide Detectives arrived to the 500 block of East 26th Street for a report of a suspicious death. Once they arrived to the location, they found a deceased 45-year-old man.

The Fire Department's Collapse Rescue Unit had to come in to remove the body, due to the condition of the building.

On Sunday, the victim's body was transported to the Medical Examiner's Office, where, due to multiple gunshot wounds, the manner of death was ruled a homicide.

On June 4, police identified the victim as Andrew Davis, of the 600 block of E. 36th Street. Police revised the victims age to 25 years old.

Homicide detectives are asking anyone with information to either contact them at (410) 396-2100 or call the Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lockup.
