Baltimore Police reported two non-fatal shootings Monday, one in the early morning and one in the middle of the afternoon.
Around 3:40 a.m., officers were called to the 4900 block of Shaub Avenue for a shooting. Upon arrival, police said, they located a 23-year-old man who had been shot in the upper body.
Police said the victim was transported to an area hospital and is in stable condition.
The victim was walking down an alley in the block when a "light skinned male" approached him and told him to "kick it out," police said. The victim started to run and the suspect fired a handgun, striking the victim.
Around 4:30 p.m., police responded to the 500 block of Dolphin Street for a reported shooting.
Upon arrival, officers found a 31-year-old male with gunshot wounds. Medics were called and the man was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
