Baltimore Police are investigating two Saturday shootings that left both victims hospitalized.

The first, which happened Saturday morning, at about 10:35 a.m., started when Central District officers responded to a Shot-spotter alert in the 1900 block of Druid Hill Avenue. After searching the area, officers found a 39-year-old man that was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.

He ended up being taken to an area hospital, where he is currently listed as being in critical, but stable condition.

The second shooting happened at about 12:15 p.m. It started when Northern District officers arrived to the 400 block of Lyman for a report of a shooting. Once they arrived, they located an adult male that was suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.

Like the previous victim, he was also taken to an area hospital. His injuries are marked as non-life threatening.
