Baltimore Police investigate two Wednesday night shootings

Baltimore Police are investigating a series of non-fatal shootings that occurred in th eight O'clock hour Wednesday night.

Officials say in each incident, the victim walked into an area hospital where police were called.

Officers first located a 36-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the back of the head. A preliminary investigation revealed the victim was in the 5500 block of Bowleys Lane when he was shot by an unknown suspect.

Shortly after, police say they found another 36-year-old man, this time with a gunshot to the leg. It was determined the shooting occurred in the 1700 block of North Port Street. The victim was reportedly undergoing surgery.
