Baltimore Police are investigating a shooting that took place in the Western District.
On Friday, at 11 p.m., officers arrived to the 900 block of Bennett Place for a report of a shooting. However, when they arrived, they didn't find a shooting victim.
At short time later, a 22-year-old man arrived at an area hospital with a gunshot wound to his stomach and investigators believe that the victim was in the 900 block of Bennett Place when he was shot.
Detectives from the Citywide Shooting Unit are investigating this incident, so anyone with information about this shooting is asked to call (410) 396-2221 or call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lockup.
