A Baltimore man who pleaded guilty to robbing eight businesses in a two-week period has been sentenced to 15 years in prison.
Forty-five-year-old Ricky Tolson was sentenced Tuesday in federal court in Baltimore, the U.S. Attorney's Office said in a news release.
According to his plea agreement, between June 7 to June 20, Tolson robbed gas stations, convenience stores, a wireless phone store, and a game store in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.
Prosecutors say Tolson made it appear that he was armed during the robberies.
Tolson fled from five of the robbery scenes with approximately $2,915 in cash, prosecutors said.
