BALTIMORE — A man who is banned from owning a firearm was arrested with a stolen gun in his car on Thursday.

The Maryland Transportation Authority Police pulled over 25-year-old Kenneth Fisher after they saw him run a red light at Moravia Road and I-895.

After pulling him over, police searched the car and found a handgun stolen from Virginia, drugs, and ammunition.

Fisher has prior felony convictions so he is prohibited from owning a gun. The MDTA Police charged Fisher with knowingly transporting a firearm in a vehicle while traveling on a public road, possessing a stolen firearm, a prohibited person possessing a firearm, drug possession and a prohibited person possessing ammunition.
