Authorities are searching for an inmate who walked off work detail on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services.
Edward Hawkins was working at Patterson Park when he fled.
Hawkins had one year left on his six year sentence for conspiracy to commit armed robbery.
