An armed man tried to force a woman into a van near the Baltimore Museum of Art, police said.
Police said on January 26 just before 7 p.m. a man driving a silver van approached a woman walking in the 3200 block of North Charles Street, close to Johns Hopkins University and the Baltimore Museum of Art.
The suspect, described as a white man, pointed a semi-automatic handgun at the woman and demanded she get in the van. The woman fled and later called police.
