An adult male dies after being shot in the chest Sunday afternoon in southwest Baltimore, according to police.
At approximately 4:05 p.m., officers responded to the 2200 block of Poplar Grove street where they discovered the victim with gunshot wounds to his chest. The man was taken to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.
Police believe the victim was shot at another location and then fled to Poplar Grove Street.
Homicide detectives were called to the scene to investigate.
