54-year-old man killed in Penn North Wednesday afternoon

A 54-year-old man was killed in Baltimore's Penn North neighborhood in the middle of the afternoon Wednesday, Baltimore police said.

Police responded to the 2500 block of Woodbrook Avenue for a reported shooting at 1:47 p.m. When they arrived they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds to his body. He was taken to an area hospital where he died of his injuries.

Thursday, the police identified the man as Colin Gardner Jr.
