BALTIMORE — A 32-year-old Baltimore man was arrested for allegedly shooting and killing his ex-girlfriend on Feb. 15, Baltimore Police said.

Police responded to a reported shooting in the 4900 block of Goodnow Road in the city’s Frankford neighborhood at 3:30 a.m. Friday. There they found a 29-year-old woman suffering from gunshot wounds to her chest and head. She was pronounced dead at the scene by medics. The woman was later identified as Marryann Wellington, who resided on the block where she died.

Homicide Detectives investigated, eventually determining Arnold Johnson, of the 700 block of Oyster Cove Drive, Graysonville, in Baltimore County, as their primary suspect. Johnson was arrested at his home Friday.
