26-year-old shot, killed in Baltimore home

Baltimore Police are investigating a homicide where a 26-year-old was killed in his home Saturday afternoon. 

Police say the shooting happened in the 1800 block of N. Smallwood Street around 4:30 p.m. When officers got to the scene they found a 26-year-old man identified as Preston Green  inside of his home with a gunshot wound to his body. 

Medics declared the Green dead at the scene. 

Investigators believe Green was involved in a fight before he was shot. A person of interest has been taken into custody as detectives continue to investigate this shooting.
