2016 New Year's Eve shooter sentenced to life plus 35 years

BALTIMORE — A 31-year-old man has been sentenced to life plus 35 years for a shooting outside Robbies Nest bar on E. North Avenue that resulted in the death of Keith Patterson.

In October 2019, Moody was found guilty of 1st degree murder, 1st degree attempted murder, 1st degree attempted murder, reckless endangerment and related gun charges.

On December 31, 2016, 30-year-old Keith Patterson was shot following a fight at a bar in the 2200 block of East North Ave. He died a short time later at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

An anonymous tip, video surveillance footage, and photo arrays conducted with witnesses on the scene, led to the arrest of Moody.
