Investigators arrived at the scene of two separate shootings Monday evening around 8:00 pm.
According to police, there was a shooting in the Northwest district that left a 53-year-old woman suffering a gunshot wound to the leg. The woman was transported to the hospital where she is being treated.
Police say the second shooting happened in the Northeast district when police found a 26-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his torso. The 26-year-old man was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead from his injuries.
Detectives are investigating both incidents.
