2 people shot in separate shootings in Baltimore

Baltimore Police detectives are investigating two separate shootings Wednesday night.

At approximately 3:20 p.m. officers located a 41-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the head in the 1400 block of E. Preston Street. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he is currently listed in critical condition.

Homicide detectives are investigating this incident. 

At 5:15 p.m. officers responded to Johns Hopkins Hospital for a walk-in shooting victim. Doctors treated a 29-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the neck. 

The victim was listed in critical condition, but is expected to survive. Police said the victim was shot in the 1400 block of N. Patterson Park Avenue by an unknown suspect.
