2 dead, 4 injured in five shootings Monday

Baltimore City police are investigating five shootings that left two men dead and four others injured Monday. 

The first happened just after 2 p.m. in the 3700 block of Beehler Avenue. Police located a 29-year-old victim suffering from gun shot wounds to the upper and lower body. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he died a short time later. 

At approximately 4:45 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Baltimore and Monroe streets for a reported shooting. An adult male was inside a car suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to an area hospital where he died from his injuries. 

Another victim, an adult male arrived an area hospital with gunshot wounds. He is being treated for his injuries. 

At 7:30 p.m., officers found an adult male who was shot in the leg in the 2200 block of W. Fayette Street. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. 

Officers were called to an area hospital around 8:30 p.m. for a reported walk-in shooting victim. The victim was being treated for a gunshot wound to his foot. He told officers he was in the 1400 block of Drew Street when he heard gunshots and realized he'd been shot. 

At approximately 8:30 p.m. officers found a man suffering from gunshot wounds to his body in the 1800 block of N. Bentalou Street. The victim was transported to an area hospital.
