BALTIMORE — A cash reward is being offered in the case of a 72-year-old man assaulted and robbed inside a mall restaurant bathroom.
The incident occurred on January 3, just before 2 p.m. inside the Burger King at Mondawmin Mall in West Baltimore.
Police say a male suspect followed the victim into the bathroom, pulled out a knife and shoved the 72-year-old to the ground, causing serious injury. The suspect then went through the victims coat and stole a large sum of money.
Following the robbery, the suspect reportedly re-entered the mall.
Surveillance footage showed the suspect wearing a camouflage jacket. A second suspect may also be involved.
