BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police say that a 19-year-old man was shot Friday afternoon in Central Baltimore.
A little after 1:45 p.m., Central District patrol officers responded to the 400 block of Preston Street for a report of a shooting. When they arrived, officers located the 19-year-old suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest. However, due to the victim's injuries, he wasn't able to give investigators any suspect information.
Baltimore Police said that the victim was pronounced dead.
Homicide detectives are investigating the incident.
