Baltimore’s second murder in the month of October occurred 12 hours after the first, this time in northwest Baltimore when an 18-year-old man was fatally shot.
Police responded to the scene at 2:15 p.m. in the 3800 block of Norfolk Ave where they were flagged down by citizens in a car saying they had a shooting victim on the way to the hospital.
Police followed the car to the hospital. Upon arrival, the man suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest was rushed into surgery but later died.
