Two people were shot Sunday in Baltimore, including a 15-year-old boy.

The latest incident occurred at approximately 7:30 p.m., in the 3500 block of W. Franklin Street. Officers found a 23-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the leg.

Earlier in the day at around 11:15 a.m., police responded to the intersection of Patterson Park and McElderry Street. There, a 15-year-old boy was located suffering from gunshot wounds to the body.

Both victims were transported to area hospitals and are expected to survive their injuries. 

These shootings come on the heels of  two East Baltimore homicides that happened within a half hour of each other on Saturday evening.
